The DeatonGroup Story

Obsessed with the Internet? You bet I am.

I found my love for computers in 1994 when I bought one to keep inventory for a new business venture. Love turned into obsession with my discovery of the Internet. Indulging my new obsession, I immediately went back to school majoring in Systems Analysis, started putting together new online ventures and then, in 1996, became a consultant while still in college.

After rolling around in the trenches with a bunch of great guys--and gals--during the dotcom boom...and then bust, I decided to start a consulting firm, Developer@Large in 2000, which quickly became The DeatonGroup when I realized my true love was online ventures.

Though the DeatonGroup has seen some starts and stops, this year promises to be the biggest year ever, rolling out new ventures that I hope will be a welcome addition to the online world.
